As we enter the new year, we are delighted to introduce our latest team member, Sowrabh R Shetty, who joins us as a Business Developer.

A graduate of TU Delft with an MSc. in Aerospace Engineering, Sowrabh specializes in composite manufacturing. His academic journey was marked by a distinct focus on sustainability and the incorporation of natural materials. This commitment is further evident in his practical experience, particularly in his thesis work, where he successfully manufactured and characterized a natural fiber composite with a bio-based resin.

His hands-on experience underscores his expertise in the field, making him a valuable addition to our team.

Sowrabh will be taking the lead in sales, utilizing his knowledge to assist customers in choosing the right process and products. His role extends beyond sales; he will guide customers on how to effectively use our semi-finished products, ensuring they get the maximum benefit from our offerings.

With a clear focus on sustainability and a passion for innovation, Sowrabh seamlessly aligns with our values at Bambooder. We eagerly anticipate the positive impact he will bring to our projects and initiatives.

Welcome Michel Jansen to Bambooder! A true pioneer in thermoplastic composites, Michel brings a wealth of experience. As the Owner/Managing Director of MJBC, he specializes in Consultancy and Business Development, focusing on New Material and Application Development in Thermoplastic Composites.

Michel holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Business Administration from the University of Maastricht and has 30 years of business development and senior management experience in thermoplastic B2B industries, of which 20 years in thermoplastic composites. His leadership at Propex Fabrics GmbH, with overall responsibility for the European business, involved managing three business segments, including CURV® Thermoplastic Composites. With a track record of successfully developing new market applications and setting up mass production facilities for thermoplastic composites, Michel has been a driving force in the industry.

In his role as Senior Business Developer at Bambooder, Michel will provide strategic insights and mentorship based on his profound experience in the thermoplastic composites sector. With his expertise and commitment to sustainability, Michel's values align seamlessly with Bambooder's mission. We're excited to have Michel on board to support and enhance Bambooder's journey into sustainable solutions.
